Hey everyone! I've completely spaced on my intro as well. Anyways, I found this place while doing research for a new glove purchase. I'm not really into collecting gloves but it's nice to see everyone's collection.

Anyways, back in the 80s my dad got me a Wilson A2120 from Price Club. It was probably a $35 glove and they made millions of them. Probably a good price for a first glove dad thought. Anyways, I used that thing every time I played baseball and softball and it's just had it's 2nd relacing.

I decided recently that it was time for a new glove. I did some research online and decided on a burgundy HOH PRO302-6P. I've always liked the H web and the fastback design. So far, I'm very pleased.

Quick note: I have a sense of humor that may not be for everyone...but I mean no harm or disrespect in anything I type. I like to keep things light.

Hi to someone else in the SoCal area...and hey, I like your avatar. I remember where I was when Kirk Gibson hit that home run. Even though I first and foremost love the Red Sox, the Dodgers are also in my hearts (though it wasn't fun to drive 4 hours round trip to San Diego yesterday just to see Jake Peavy kick their butts 9-0).

Yeah, we need some pitching and hitting. That home run is one of the greatest ever.

Wickedwoman, a four hour round trip to Petco, huh? Sounds about where I live. You probably passed me coming and going. You should stop by sometime. Always good to meet another Dodger fan. You too RichieRich.

I grew up in the Falbrock area..border of Temecula in the middle of Avacado fields, I noticed the Dodger Blue...it's been in my blood too, since I was a little guy. I was at the first game in the LA Coliseum in 1958 with the Yankee's. I have some great pic's and real life memories. My children were born and raised in LA, I also have a burgandy colored rawlings glove Pro-1000BFOT. stay in touch: jnramos@unm.edu
