One of the early glove highlights for Dave and I was providing gloves for the movie, "League of Their Own." The film's prop master, Tom Allen, contacted me about getting a replica glove from Nocona to use in the scene where Marla Hooch (Megan Kavanagh) gets a new glove from her father. I sent one up, Megan, used it before the scene was shot, and then they needed a new one for the father scene. So we had to send another but there wasn't time and they had to rewrite the scene. I did get the glove back that she used when we sent the latest one to Tom.
Meanwhile Allen had asked for vintage gloves and got many of them from Dave. Dave bemoaned the fact that he wished he'd gotten his gloves back when the movie was finished production but the actors had walked off with them.
