Years later he would say that he wished he would have switched to the outfield sooner. Less stressful and out of earshot of the opposing teams' bench jockeys.

In 1936 George Brace took a photo of Roxie Lawson's pitching grip and still managed to not give a definitive view of his glove. Wilson and Goldsmith were so similar at that time. I'm thinking Goldsmith just because I don't think Wilson made a triple tunnel web yet.

I was surprised by how popular the Pro-form and the other Rainey webs were with the pro's back then, considering how few show up at auction.
