Hot Stove Trades

PostPosted: November 2nd, 2010, 12:33 pm
by Mr. Mitt
The season’s come and gone, the temperature’s beginning to dip and it’s time for a long winter. Thought I’d post some trade gloves to see if we could drum up any hot stove action!

I have an extremely narrow collecting focus, so please don’t take it personally if I pass on items or trade scenarios. That said, I don’t want to dissuade anyone from contacting me with proposals, you never know!

I concentrate on 19th century, turn of the century and uniquely designed gloves, as well as endorsed models of Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio and Mantle. It’s possible I may be interested in something outside those confines, but not likely.

Please contact me at MrMitt@yahoo.com with pictures of what you’re willing to trade. And just to save everyone some time, I’m interested in gloves/mitts, glove boxes and glove related ephemera only. Nothing else. Also, what I’m offering is for trade only, they are not for sale.

Thanks!

Jerry

Spalding Tornado Palm

Thanks to everyone who's contacted me with offers, I really appreciate it! All have been intriguing, but nothing has been consummated yet. A few deals remain on the table and perhaps could get done with a little tweaking. I understand it's difficult to give up great gloves in your collection, but sometimes you have to give up a keeper in order to get a keeper! :D With that, I thought I'd take it up a notch and put this ragamuffin in play.

One of the very few Spalding F3 Fielders' Choice gloves, better known as "Tornado Palm", to have been found.
