Here we have a Spalding model ABX double buckle 1B mitt in good condition. The leather on the glove is very soft and supple, although there is cracking on both the inner lining and front palm area. Stampings are worn but the "ABX" is still visible. Spalding tag intact and is faded. Wrist buckle and strap in excellent condition. Web buckle is ripped and shortened - only one hole left. The attaching section on the thumb is also coming loose. Inner lining has cracking but is hole free, soft and smooth. This glove is listed in Spalding catalogs from 1914 to 1926 and was know as the "Stick On the Hand" model. It was top of the line in the catalogs. This is a glove I'm selling on consignment.
