Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I have a chance to buy one and wanted to know if anyone had any thougths.

I am going to use a Pro-H for the outfield next year. From what I understand the Pro-2HF is a bit smaller but a bit wider. I want to use that for the infield. By the way I play softball not baseball.

I had two of these awhile back and prefer these over the Pro-H.
My first one I got from Glen Allen Hill from his earlier days with the Blue Jays. The second one I found at a sporting goods store, kept it for a few years and sold it on ebay last year. I don't know if they are actually wider but they were definitely smaller and lighter and I felt in better control with it over the Pro-H's.
I believe Jose Canseco used this glove throughout his career. Don't know if that will change your opinion on the glove now.
And I also used it for softball for both infield and outfield.

I like Pro-H for the outfield. To me it just plays bigger than a 12 3/4" as its listed.

With the Pro-2HF being smaller I think it will be perfect for the infield.

How much smaller was it?

The Pro-2HF was listed as a 12-1/4 size.
