I had owned one in the past. I had the 12.75 trap, and sold it.

It is the best quality glove I ever had on my hand......by far. The problem is that it is bit heavy, which is why I sold it.

My question is why dont you ever see any Primo's at the major league level? The quality is by far good enough for MLB. Which makes it puzzling as to why they arent all over the place in the majors.

My guess would be weight. I see a rise in mesh-back gloves which are lighter gloves. I think that this trend will continue in the future as today's player continues to look for any advantage. I have 2 of the Primo's 12.75 trap gloves and agree with you that they are beautiful and extremely well crafted.

I'm sure the Primo is the excellence of craftsmanship but I would take a lighter glove for performance.

Major leaguers look for performance not longevity like we glove nerds do.

I guess it gets back to a point I made last week, that Pros dont love their gloves like they did years ago. It almost like they are disposable at that level.
