Amen to Nokona

Just bought my first Nokona, a AMG1200BFC and it is by far the best glove I have ever worn. The inside is stiff enough from the cowhide but the back is buttery soft. It has broken in well. I firmly believe in supporting American companies, but I bought a Nokona because it was the best glove I put my hand in. The fact that it was from a great American company that stands behind its employees, town, and customers is super-bonus.

I have a personalized AMGBF buffalo glove, and I love this glove dearly. It broke in so soft and perfect, and the caramel leather is indeed buttery soft. I wish I could say that it doesn't play well, but in truth, the errors are the fault of the operator, not the glove itself. It is my prized possession and the one thing I save in the hypothetical burning house.

You can't go wrong with Nokona, or the buffalo. And they have the best customer service. They were awesome when I did their factory tour in Texas a few years ago, and they once sent me a big package of laces free of charge just because I wrote and asked what type the recommend for relacing. I was so sorry to hear they burned down, and I'm so glad they are back up and running (with a new line of Bloodline and Kimera gloves shown in their new catalog). I am sorry I bought a Rawlings for my backup glove, I would have loved that new Kimera glove.

You made a wise choice, I hope you enjoy your Nokona as much as I have enjoyed mine. :D
