Best Rawlings Leather I have ever felt
Posted: July 29th, 2008, 2:50 amI have owned close to 15 Pro Issue Rawlings gloves in my 7 years of glove collecting and this one stands out the most. It was a pro issue I picked up on Ebay last week apparently from a Pro who just had it as a back up. I have NEVER felt black HOH leather this clean/pure before. (I have only had 3/4 USA's so I cannot say too much there). The best part though is the lining. It feels so close to deer skin, but not as slick if you know what I mean. It feels alot like some of those really smooth linings during the USA era. Even the welting on the back is literally as perfect as you can get. Its a 4 Dot, so 1999 model. The only bad thing I can say about it is that its unfortunately a basket web- probably my least favorite. Im curious to know if anyone else has Pro Issues from around that same time that just stand out from the rest of them.
