Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I just bought a Mizuno Victory Stage glove on Ebay. I don't care for it for me (I decided I would rather buy a new glove and not a used one), but it might be the right glove for you! It is the Super Craft Hide, made in Japan, and about 12". The seller said it is comparable to the Mizuno Classic Pro in the US, but I don't know for sure if that is the case. He played with this glove for two years, so there is some wear on it (namely scuff marks on the fingers, on the open back around the forefinger area, and on the inside of the trapeze web. I just want to recoup my money so I can buy a new glove to use as a backup. I'd sell it for $65 or the best offer. Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks.

Hi, I just wanted to note that my ebay auction ended fruitlessly. My fault for buying a used glove when I now realize that I am really more into breaking in my own. If anybody out there wants a collectible that is not sold in the US (according to the guy who sold it to me it is the same as the US version, the Classic Pro), I've lowered my asking price by a lot. I'm now looking for $30 plus shipping ($40 total -- though I'll refund any overage if it ends up costing less to send it to you).

Surely somebody is intrigued? I'm batting my eyelashes in cyberspace. Believe me, if my husband finds out I bought the new Rawlings without having a buyer for the Mizuno I'm toast.
