Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I just bought a Rawlings HOH Dual -core PRO204DC mod trap.....a nice glove....smooth like butter...soft...opposite of the horween stuff...I like everything about it but it has a funky welting..looks like some kind of synthetic material. -matt

overall: thumbs up..if you like the game ready stuff this is a good one...I prefer the break in process but if you don't this is the glove for you.

Bob or any others......anyone know the story on the welting on the 2009 HOH dual core......it seems to be some kind of synthetic material...just curious why the change? thanks, Matt

What rawlings does for the dual core is compromise the material for the palm lining. I can't imagine these would wear as well as some of their regular heart of the hide models. I think these gloves would be ideal in the catchers model and the outfielders model.
