I know Rawlings marks blem on gloves that don't quite make the cut.
Does that big glaring "S" on an A2000 stand for Second? If so, how much would YOU be willing to pay for a second?
With 3 days left on this auction this seems kind of high. Or perhaps not. Just how much does a blem or second change the value?

I think you need to distinguish between gloves purchased to go on a shelf and gloves purchased to actually use. For gamers there should be little or no difference in price (although my "game" these days is shagging balls for my son's team so the idea of looking at BLEM everytime I put on the glove would be like adding insult to injury).

I may look at gloves for collecting differently than others - I would not buy a Rawlings BLEM because I feel it really impacts the look of the glove. On the other hand, I have owned a Wilson A2000XL with the S stamp (I recently sold it) and felt that the S stamp did not detract from the look of the glove (I never did figure out what prompted Wilson to consider that glove a second).

For me, the glove in question (a highly desirable A2000L) has condition issues that go beyond the S stamp and actually detract from its value more than the stamp.
