So I ordered a couple of Pro Shop Customs from Ebay on Tuesday. :D On Wednesday they call to confirm the order and process it. I really wanted a 12" H-web with a conventional back, but comprimised with the 12" H-Web Fastback (hey, it's from the pro shop!). Then, Thursday morning morning I see the Rawlings Pro Shop Website is up! I can get any combination of glove I want! I called Eastbay to try and cancel my order, but no luck. The won't let me cancel the custom order.

Docglov, can you help and turn my 12" H-web Fastback into a conventional back?!?!

I ordered the gloves through the Rawling Pro Dept program on Eastbay's website. The Eastbay website says it will made by Rawlings "Made in USA" Pro Dept in Missouri. Like Josey Wales says, "Missouri Boat Ride."

The name that will be on the order is "LANGWORTHY"

I ordered two gloves

Pro 12F with Pro H web (conventional back PLEASE).

and

Pro 12F with Basket web (could that same "presto" turn this into a Pro-1005BFB?)

THANK YOU SO MUCH DOCGLOV!!!!

Are the gloves from the new Rawlings site made in the US? They don't say but I'm assuming they are since they're $300 like they are on Eastbay.

docglove,

How do these two types ( HOH & P.P) from overseas compare to the US Eastbay gloves? The PP is $400 - I know the Kip leather is softer but in your opinion is it a "better" glove? If price was not an object, would everyone choose the PP?

Thanks!

That's an interesting comment. I've always though that the HOH breaks in quicker (and is also heavier) because of the oil treatment. I assumed that this was also why HOH thumb/pinky did not keep their stiffness as long as PP. I don't have any personal experience w/ older/non-oil treated HOHs though.

If lighter weight + stiffness = better, what would you guys recommend (new PP or new USA HOH)? I'm looking specifically for performance and not a 20 yr collectable.
