NEW RAWLINGS CUSTOM GLOVE WEBSITE!

It looks like Rawlings is now offering to build custom gloves direct through its website: http://www.rawlings.com/customglove/

You can now see what the glove will look like with the different options you choose, similar to Eastbay's website. I'm guessing these gloves will be made in the Philippines like the custom gloves offered by Baseball Express, HQ 4 Sports, and CustomGlove.com.

The prices are a bit more expensive on the Rawlings site but it is pretty neat to actually see what the glove will look like with the custom options. My son made a Mets themed NP5 that actually looks pretty sweet. They also offer way more options than any of the other websites like a conventional back 12.75 inch trapeze.

Does anyone know the subtle differences between the following 12.75 inch patterns: PROTB24, PRO302, and PRO303. I’m contemplating putting together a 12.75 inch trapeze with a conventional back but I would like to know which pattern best suits my needs.

Bob,

Thanks again for the info!

I prefer conventional back gloves (Wing-tips to be more specific  ) and the glove would be used primarily for softball. Which pattern would you recommend? All things being equal I would prefer your shop put this together for me. Eastbay doesn't give me the options I want but is this something you can do?

Brotherray,

Thanks for the Link!

It is great and I've been looking at different Customizations on break today.

I also sent the link to a couple of Friends I play Catch with as I am certain they'll enjoy it too.

All My Best,
John

It looks like baseballsavings.com has taken the custom glove configurator to a new level.

They do a great job of showing the different palms between flat and deep pockets and they even give a preview of what the flag option looks like. Very well done. The only downside is they don't do any pro-preferreds or 1B/catcher's mitts. I guess you can't have everything.

I also noticed that Dowdle Sports now gives you an option to choose where the finger pad is located; either the middle or index finger with their custom Rawlings.
