I got the Mod Trap yesterday. It is very soft like no other heart of the hide it is almost suede like. sweet glove time will tell if it is as good

Please help me understand Dual Core Technology.
Rawlings adds a third layer of leather between the lining and shell palms. Is this added layer of leather glued as a reinforcement to the shell palm for increased strength?
If not what is the significance of the added layer of leather?
