He really hit the nail on the head as to the way a kid feels about his glove. Hanging your glove on your bike's handlebar brought back memories for me and made me wistful for the days of the Made in USA Dubows, Higgins, Franklins, etc. Thanks for posting it!

Really nice, but it made me a little sad. My parents threw my glove out when I got older. They were cleaning out for a move and figured I didn't need it anymore. Other than the fact that it was a 50's fielders glove, I don't remember anything about it.
And they tossed the baseball cards too. :(

I poked around on this website. Here's another baseball related post that I thought was pretty interesting. Reminded me of my Grandma who was a devoted Reds fan. I can remember visiting her and if the Reds were playing, her radio was on.
