After a terrific week last week, things seemed to really slow down on the eBay auction front this past week.

Forum founder Brett Lowman won this outstanding Sonnett Kaline “AKâ€

I received the Kaline the other day and I'm very pleased with it. I had two other Sonnett AK's that were nice, but nothing like this one. Guess I'll have to get rid one now. Can't wait to get the Sonnett Richards glove I got the other night - should be a beauty as well.

BTW, the Alex Taylor Doak is actually crackofthebat's - it's better to leave the eBay selling up to technology minded son than to technology crippled dad.

Good catch, I'm not sure how I missed that one. Maris gloves seem to be very popular on eBay. It seems that many times they land in the "what the..." category, with low-end gloves, or poor condition gloves fetching big money. This one however, is an outstanding example of Spalding's highest end glove ('62-'65). This one earned $710 on 13 bids. A good price for this glove...and as someone on the forum said, the Maris gloves are starting to tread in Mantle territory.
