I saw this one as it was posted on ebay and knew it wouldn't last long. The Rawlings Billy Herman model BH sold for $299. It's a rare and distinctive model with the wrist closure at the back and the patented finger lacing. It was one of Rawling's most expensive models in 1939.

A rare Spalding Rocky Colavito model 42-105 glove sold for $600. The glove is in great shape and top of the line back in 1963. It's a TraPocket model with a two piece Full Control Palm.

A Elliot Arms G52 glove sold in a heartbeat for $39. The Kit Grundy model was made from about 1936-41 and is listed in the Elliot catalogs. The glove possibly made by Rawlings. The glove is near mint.

Two Rawlings gloves, Mort Cooper and Red Rolfe models sold as a package for $575. The Red Rolfe model RR glove is the only one worth reviewing. This one has a standard web and not a factory rolled lace web. Still, the glove is in great shape.

An early Rawlings full web glove sold quickly for $200. The glove sports a killer cloth patch and legible pocket stamps. It's a high quality glove with Black leather and reddish brown leather piping and heel lace. There is obvious wear to the palm but any day a collector can score an early Rawlings glove is a good day.

A webless crescent glove sold for $1550. It is really stylish and intact. The seller stated the glove was 7 X 6 inches and I noticed it had all cloth piping.

Here is a oddity. A Higgins Joe DiMaggio glove sold for $620. It is in great shape. The model 1641 "Professional Model" was one of Higgins top gloves back in
1956- 57.

A trio of undervalued gloves:
A sewn web Worth Brand glove from Lannom Mfg. of Grinnell IA. sold for $75. The glove looks to be well made and in good shape. JD's a fan of Worth gloves.

A rare D&M oddity sold for$158. Somewhere in the missing D&M catalogs of the 1930's an answer exists that could explain this glove. It is a non-endorsed G98 glove in Wapiti Kip leather with fully laced fingers and adjusto-thumb. I'm guessing a 1933 date of manufacture when the adjusto-thumb patent was applied for.

A rare Spalding Fred Lindstrom glove quickly sold for $79. A top glove in its day.
