A Simmons Hardware duck web glove sold for $1995. Originally listed at 5K a few months ago. A nice looking glove, made by Rawlings for Simmons.

A mandala off 1940's gloves. A Geo Reach Bruce Campbell model, A Nokona Carl Erskine model, a MacGregor Goldsmith Pete Reiser model. All in the neighborhood of $50 and in fantastic condition but getting no love on ebay in the auction format. The star was the KenWel Harry Gumbert glove at $250, the only one with a set price format on ebay. Is there something to be learned there? probably not so carry on.

A Browns Sport Shop glove out of Toronto sold for $366. It has some attributes of a Wilson model but the buckle back is unique. it's a cool looking glove!

An 1890's glove sold for $450. It's got the rare hook and grommet back and stubby fingers on the front. I like it. The price reflects a small child's model.

A rare Sonnett Eddie Stanky glove sold for $60. It's an early "Patent Applied For" "Double Play" model. It's in super condition. Got no love on ebay with just one bid. Easily a $200 glove. The co-joined finger are laced which is the original patent design. Brett has a slightly later version of this model. It would be hard for him to pass this one up, especially at that price.

A good deal on a cool glove. I snagged that one to go with its sister glove, the one without the mid-finger lacing. Both are Sonnett gloves.

That was a good purchase Carmi! Not sure why it went unappreciated with only the one bid. Brett pointed out the summer doldrums. I guess that could be. Its a super glove.

An early Victor catchers mitt sold for $525. Its high quality and in great condition with some fairly legible markings on the face. Too bad about the missing wrist straps. That hurt the sellers price. The mitt has all the whistles and bells intact, laced heel, intricate buckle web. it's a simple thing to fabricate new buckle straps and even follow the old stitching pattern.

A 1930's D&M G12 Red Ruffing glove sold for $306. This one's also in great condition.

A 1930's Goldsmith Mel Ott model MO glove sold for $197. A fairly common model in super condition.

Great buy on the Sonnett - I had it on my watch list but hiking in Acadia National Park made me forget about it. I have a few different versions including the one that sold - they are really interesting models and not sure why the price has come way down on them. Lot's of other good bargains as well but that Ruffing brought a very solid price.

A J.C. Higgins Pie Traynor glove sold for $260. Couldn't ask for better pocket stamps. The gloves in this time period were made by Goldsmith for Higgins.

A rare Honus Wagner Co. glove sold for $1250. Looks to have the same construction as the Pie Traynor glove above and possibly made by Goldsmith as well.

I have the box lid for that Traynor glove if anyone here bought the mitt.

A unique Rawlings Bill Brubaker glove sold for $125. I owned this model for a while. The wrist strap and triple tunnel web are pretty cool. It's a big glove, well made, great condition and uncatalogued as far as a know. The price seemed like a bargain to me.

A mystery sewn web glove sold for $202. Looks to be in great shape and stamped with some outfit in Philly with the initials MA?

Another unique Rawlings glove. A super stubby finger model sold for $135. It's got a sewn web and a great look. The replacement wrist strap kept the price down.
