A webless crescent glove sold for $2725. I like the leather crescent sheath visible on the inner palm liner. Most of them are canvas or burlap. The glove has a great look to it.

A 1920's Wright & Ditson glove sold for $299. I like this glove a lot! Super condition inside and out. The patent info on the face refers to curved leather stiffeners placed inside the finger stalls To mimic the shape of a baseball and aid in securing a caught ball. Cool!

An early hook and lace glove listed for $1199 sold for a best offer. It is a full web model with a crescent pad and looks to be in real nice shape. It's a rare one for sure.

A 1961 Wilson A2000 "Shooting Star" model glove sold for $950. This one is clean and has the features collectors love in that year, the outside finger loop, edge-u-cated heel.

A rare and early D&M glove box sold for $575.

A really cool Sonnett Dick Donovan glove sold for $40. This one's mint and hung around for a while on ebay. I thought it would go in a heartbeat. Maybe it was its lefty-ness, lol. Anyway, I love the joined finger stalls. This one makes more sense to me than the "double play" models.

A full web, buckle back glove sold for $430. Always a popular combination. This one has a nice antique look to it and is in good shape although on the small side. Looks to be a Western Sporting Goods glove made for Sears.

Wasn’t the white lefty marketed/sold as an Eddie Collins?

And are you suggesting that it was not an Eddie Collins, Mike? (No, I was not the buyer. Just curious)

No, not at all. Just being forgetful.

The godfather called and gave the seller an offer he couldn't refuse. A rare 1911 Rogers patent glove sold off ebay. The shoulder heel crescent model is in great shape. Too bad there's no so called "scar" lacing on the back. That's the feature I really like.

And with apparently a little education, the seller took down an active auction with multiple bids and relisted the shoulder heel for a starting price of $2,000. Curious to see how that goes. Rooting for a big sale with some spirited bidding!
