Another pretty rare Spalding glove, this one a "Roger Maris" model 42-217 Personal Model. Glove is in fantastic shape. It sold for $348 on ebay

A crescent pad glove sold for $435 on ebay. Glove has seen a lot of wear with some seam separations on the front and lining issues. Looks like an interesting tall model however.

A circa 1920 Victor Wright & Ditson sewn web glove sold for $382 on ebay. Black leather glove is in nice shape with intact cloth patch and logo button.

This Rawlings "Mickey Mantle" XPG6 was sold on ebay last month for $600. New owner hoped to flip it for $1200 with no takers.

A pretty nice Rawlings "Mickey Mantle" XFB19 base mitt sold for $93 on ebay. This one is the early model with the Pat. Pend. horizontal "Holdster" finger slot. I have this model. It's one of my favorites

A 1920's Reach model OOW sold for $160 on ebay. Nice markings but the white leather looks a little scrubbed.

The other 1930's Reach OOW model sold for $87. This is the one the Glovester referenced. The back is pristine. Maybe he'll get some work on the front thumb seam. Really like the patented trap web

This interesting mitt popped up this afternoon on eBay and after 3 bids it was gone. I'm on record as hating when AUCTIONS are ended early and I'll reiterate my stance again. Would have loved to see how this would have done despite the condition issues.

Pretty rare D&M "Bob Sturgeon" model glove sold for $19 on ebay. Glove was really a bargain at that price. It's in great condition. Has the one piece face and webbing shared by parent company, Goldsmith. Nice transitional glove

Here is the same glove a couple weeks later which sold for $222. Amazing what a good cleaning/conditioning with better photography will do.

A 1930's Tryon "Dazzy Vance" model glove sold for $30 on ebay. Listed in a screwball category. Looks to be in great shape despite the horrible pictures. Hits the sweet spot for a diligent collector!

A 1920's Spalding King Patent model BB1 sold for $299 on ebay. Amazing how the front can look so promising and the back be such a mess. This may have originally been a white glove.

I wouldn't be surprised if the mitt and Ray Wood's grommet back fielder's glove recently on ebay both end up in William's hands for restoration.

An early Spalding fielders mitt sold for $299 on ebay. Interesting button wrist strap model. I like the adjusting holes in the full web for lacing the pocket tighter.

A Wright & Ditson full web glove sold for $263 on ebay. Glove was unidentified in the listing but not hard to make out the tennis player logo in the pocket. Patch is somewhat worn but the glove seems in pretty good shape overall.

A circa 1950 Wilson model 601 out seam "Kurv Form" glove sold for $68 on ebay. Seems to have very little wear but it looked dripping wet with God knows what. Scared off a lot of bidders. Probably deserved at least a Benjamin. Seller would have been better off leaving glove alone.

mikesglove wrote:This 1960 Nokona "Jim Lemon" model TST10 sold for $30 on ebay. I thought the "Tex-Siz-Trap" gloves were in high demand especially this top catalog model featuring the "Fingerlok". Really surprised it garnered only one bid.

The winner relisted the glove two weeks later and it sold for $89 on ebay.

This Reach Babe Ruth Home Run Special brought $880 - looks like the surface dirt will clean up to make this a really nice piece.
