The last Brimfield Antiques show for the 2014 season was this past week. This show was very, very dry in turning up quality items. I always enjoy the hunt so it was fun to walk around and see what was being offered. Not many quality (or poor quality for that matter) sports items to be found. One of the things I did pick up that I found to be interesting was the the mitt pictured below. It is made by Ratsch Peerless and is a very thick suede leather. It's a midline glove but is a little bit different than models you usually come across from this era.
