Winchester
Posted: February 26th, 2012, 11:46 pmI bid on this winchester model 8150 on ebay a couple weeks ago but it didn't make the reserve. I shot the seller a few emails and was able to purchase the glove for a price between his initial reserve and my ending bid. Its a nice glove with really smooth liner and deep stampings. Really feels nice on your hand.
Its especially meaningful to me thanks to my grandfather. Like most men in the south, I was raised and continue to be a hunter. About 10 years ago my grandfather gave me his old 16 ga Winchester shotgun from the 50s. I was blessed enough to have spent the day with him yesterday (he's 87) fishing at a nearby lake. I took the glove along with me and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. He said it brought back many memories of both baseball and hunting. I will cherish that day forever.
