I'm not saying that alcohol was involved but alcohol was probably involved.

A J.C. Higgins glove from a 1910 Sears catalog. A unique baseball glove for sure. The thumb and fingers stalls all have side panels. Funny how a common retailer will reveal a heretofore unknown model.
