Here's a link to the Johnstown Leader-Herald newspaper. There's an article on J.A. Peach in today's edition. http://www.leaderherald.com/sports/local-sports/2019/05/upstate-n-y-sports-lore-year-of-the-baseball-glove-j-a-peach-company/
It's interesting reading. Must be nice to have local access to historical documents and locales. The article explains the J.A. Peach connection to this Sell Sporting Goods mitt with the bifurcated patch at the wrist opening. pretty cool! Image

Thanks for the link. I didn’t know that Peach had a working relationship with Tober - good info in that article

When Jacob Peach went to work for Consolidated Sporting Goods circa 1909, his patent of 1905 was set to be reissued to his new employer. A.J. Reach put the hurt on them in a lawsuit of patent infringement. Reach won the patent lawsuit and the Charles King patent came into being. The Peach removable liner gloves with button snaps are rare.

I've only known of one in the hobby. It is pretty well known

I found another recently on JD's website http://www.baseballglovecollector.com Many new gloves to the hobby have recently been added. Definitely worth a look. The wrist strap of the glove below is different from the model above but is identical to other Peach gloves/mitts of the era.
I'm not sure why this one is not posted under Peach gloves. Cool glove for sure!
