Finally made it up to Nocona for first time since the fire last fall. Things are nearly back to operating normally for the glove company considering they're in an entire new facility, the old Nocona Boot Factory. Rob Storey says they're turning out about 500 gloves a week but are still running 6 to 8 weeks behind. "Nothing prepares you for something like this," he said. We were lucky in a lot of ways. But our employees pitched in and a 'can do' attitude from both employees and the town we rallied back. Nocona has also signed up three new major league endorsers for their gloves. I'll have more on the trip and the Nocona progress in our next newsletter.
