A disorder?

Postby oldreliable » May 12th, 2008, 11:03 pm

Does anyone else see features of baseball gloves in other objects out there?

Yesterday, I saw a newer model Dodge pickup going the other way, and I noticed that the grill on the front of the truck reminded me of a single post web.

And then I saw some kind of Suzuki car, and that grill reminded me of a dual hinge web.

I also saw an old playground swing, the soft kind, and it reminded me of a thumb strap on the inside of a glove.

Hi, my name is John and I'm a glove-o-holic.

That's pretty funny, and extreme, but I hear you.

I was sitting in my wife's car yesterday, looking at the upholstery and thinking about the welted seams of baseball gloves.

While sitting in my dentist waiting room. I was admiring the nice leather upholstery..........wondering if it was possibly horween leather.

Also, noting how some cows hides get the ultimate compliment and make it to the "Big Leagues" while others get peoples backsides all day. Life isn't fair.

Yesterday we had a supply problem with a supplier whose shipping code is BGDBB.

I wondered what style of back "G" was...
Aim for the corners and let the middle take care of itself.

Cool! I don't feel so alone now. Thanks for the moral support, guys! Your comments made me laugh. Life isn't nearly as much fun without an obsession.

My 9 year old came to me yesterday and asked if I could find him a first baseman's mitt because that would complete his collection. I am truly blessed.

I am still chuckling about a comment in another thread that went something like, "Hi I'm John and I have not bought a glove in 3 days."

The information and the humor is appreciated!
