Reach glove - Patent 3/10/1908 - Model ?

Postby Irish Tim » August 28th, 2019, 5:24 pm

Hi all,
I’been on this site for awhile, but typically dabbled in the hobby from the fringes.
I found this glove recently and knew it was a nice find. Just trying to get info on
the model # and approximate value. Here’s what I can tell you about the glove...
It was manufactured by Reach... with Patent date of March 10, 1908
Glove is in OK shape, not great, but not poor either. It’s definitely white
leather with a single 1” strap web. I tried to add pics, but the site tells me the file is too large.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Tim

Hey Tim, good to hear from you. Sounds like a white 1" web from the teens. Love it! If you want to e-mail me pics, I can resize them for you and post them. Happy to help.

Jim,
Thanks for posting those pics for me. As I take a closer look at the glove, I’m seeing what appears to be the letter “G” just under the patent date. The lower half of the G can be seen in the pic. So is it safe to assume this is a Model G?
