I have 10-12 nice early, rare/unique, gloves and mitts available for sale, many different brands/makers/styles:

Spalding KofC 1", beautiful double tagged glove, only tagged KofC I've seen, I have other stamped ones but only one I've seen with the tag.

Spalding full web king patent, rough condition, but extremely rare, again only one I know of, most kp's are obviously 1" models.

Spalding TOC bb base mitt, descent patch, good early mitt all around.

Bon Tober bb decker patent basemitt, again only one I've seen, great condtion, pristine tag

Bon Tober bb catchers mitt, big old mitt, top line, pristine tag, and BT catchers mitts seem to be extremely rare and was a tough one for me to find, very nice rare mitt.

Bon Tober fielders glove, beautiful condtion, nice button, top quality model, tough maker to find top quality stuff of, awesome set of three here;)

Reach 1" model 2L, again pristine patch and beautiful glove inside and out

Horace Partridge 1" web, brown, nice tag.

Horace Partridge, Dazzy Vance style glove, but "Babe" Pinelli endorsed model, very rare/unique, only one I've seen.

Ed Maynard, All-Star model, absolutely gorgeous glove from a rare maker, won't find one any better, beauty with beautiful stamping all around!!

Black D&M full web, great early tag

All the gloves are between $200- $400, not cheapies but not super high end, just want my money back out of stuff, not looking to make anything, just narrowing out a big chunk of my collection, in the process of buying a house and needed to come up with some funds:(

Also have a cool early wooden baseball stitching clamp w/ matching baseball from same company/factory the clamp came from, very cool piece to have together!! $500 for both

Few bats still here, though I already sold all the early homemade ones, still have the Spalding "Record" model, only one I've seen. Pontiac Turning Co, great bold logo/stampings, I'd do $400 for the pair.

Last, I have a complete set of nice 1910's D&M catchers gear, the smooth faced shin guards were featured on the cover of the Popovich book "Dugout Treasures", the mask is an early beauty and also a nice wide crotch chest protector. $750 for the set

Email me if interested and I'll send over some pics

The time has come again... More nice glove, mitts, masks and bats available from my collection....looking for any BO or trade. I'm looking for excellent condition early Spalding gloves and gear, 19th century equipment, a descent buckle web fielders glove, and some unique early novelty gloves possibly.

Have available:

1930's Horace Partridge Co. "Augie Galan" signature model glove w/ box. Believe it's either the only known HP w/ box or cetainly one of very few.

1910's Horace Partiridge tan 1 1/2" web, beautiful early tag

1910's Spalding full web King patent model, only one known

1900 Spalding bb base mitt

1920's Bon Tober catchers mitt, big beautiful mitt, mint tag on the thumb, pretty unique and very rare maker to find a top quality adult mitt in, may be only one or one of very few again

1910's Draper & Maynard bb fielders mitten, great condition, nice two-tone look

1910's Wright & Ditson 1" adjustable web, patent pending stamped on the web, very cool unique glove, again think only one known

1900 Wright & Ditson burgundy bb crescent padded base mitt, great early W&D tag

1910's bb buckle web fielders glove w/ many vintage repairs, cool character glove, I'm looking for an upgrade;)

1910's Brine 1" web

1910's Stall & Dean model 8033 1" web, beautiful pocket stampings on this one, barely used if at all

1920's Victor, Wright & Ditson grommet web, mint tag, awesome condition, beauty.

1910-20s D&M wide-crotch Chest Protector, nice tag

1910-20s D&M smooth face shin guards, nice tag

1910's D&M no weld mask, beauty, nice tag

1900's no weld mask w/ throat protector, all intact, very nice, maker unknown

1910's Spalding "Record" model baseball bat, rare script Spalding logo, only record model I've seen or heard of, rare

Email me if interested in anything, may have a few others available with the right trade, let me know what you want pics of and I'll send the over with any other info I have on the equipment. If interested in selling or trading something of yours I might like, please send me over pics and info.

Just a stupid question, when you say "only one known" what do you mean?

Only one know to you? You and your friends?

Used car salesmen using the line to get hook a buyer?

All because an item has not been sold here or on eBay doesn't make it the only one know.

Sorry just a pet peeve

Yes Murph, my bad... what I mean is that I can't find pics, sales records at auction, or any listing of another one or heard of another one yet. From other websites and yes ebay listings often, other auction house, stuff like that. I know many things exchange hands under the table and are never even seen or known about by most, and many others are still being discovered as we speak. Hence also why I said or certainly very few, or very rare. Guess I was just trying to express the rarity, sorry if I touched on a sore spot, I'll be a bit more careful with wording next time, I can understand. Again sorry, wasn't trying to sound like I know everything and I know for sure it's the only one that exists, I'm sure there are many private collections I, nor anyone, will ever see or no about;). Take care glovers, email me if anyone is interested in some nice condition rare stuff.
