A couple of lefties. First is a 1920's KenWel sewn web model with the first generation "Neverip" back panel and the early cloth patch. The glove shows a lot of wear and tear but is surprisingly intact. KenWel quality construction. It sold for $163.

A nice white leather Spalding sewn web glove sold for $207. The glove shows very little use and has great markings in the pocket. The model number is worn away but there is a nice logo and above that is imprinted with "Genuine Tuf-rite Leather"

A Goldsmith "Christy Mathewson" glove sold for $338. Another example of the famous player junior series featuring the "Spider Web". It has a leather palm liner. This is a model RF46 and has stellar markings in the pocket. "Special Players" is stamped below the "Mathewson" stamp. One of the most collectible of Goldsmith endorsers.

A couple of private label brand glove/mitts. First is a full web Ajax brand glove which sold for $105. Shows some wear but a nice looking white leather glove with wool lining. Never heard of that brand before. It may be related to Ajax Tire and Rubber Co. out of NY. They were active at the TOC.

A Fairplay brand base mitt sold for $168. Shows some wear but a nice buckle web model. Somewhat obscured but looks like a "Stuffy McGinnis" endorsement.

An early full web, crescent pad glove recently sold for a best offer on ebay. It has the popular feature of a buckle and strap wrist closure. The inner lining is leather and the glove overall is in nice shape.

A WInchester catchers mitt sold for $487. It has the flap at the heel to adjust padding. More than likely a Rawlings mitt sold by Winchester. Amazing the money the Winchester name adds to the cost of gloves and mitts.

A "Honus Wagner" glove sold for $680 on ebay. The stamped endorsement is pretty strong. The glove could be a Higgins brand made by Goldsmith. The pocket is stamped with "Warranted Genuine Horsehide", a slogan Goldsmith put on many of their models. This glove was completely relined and new rolled piping.
