This morning I had more time to look over the 1925 Ken-Wel catalog that was recently posted. Having already looked at the equipment, this time I was struck by the number of photos and names of ball players displayed on the pages. Some pages feature one player, while others show several. At the time of printing, did Ken-Wel have to get approval from the players to do this and compensate them for their name and likeness being used? The names of the teams that the players were associated with are also stated. I imagine that these days, MLB would want compensation.
