I wish I could say I've owned one of those early Wilson out-seam gloves but it hasn't happened yet. Here is a nice cover and page from a 1911 D&M catalog that recently sold. The full web, three finger model would be a nice find. The whole catalog is available for download at
http://www.baseballglovecollector.com I was curious if there were any other three finger full web gloves out there in collections so I checked around and found this Reach, Wright & Ditson model from the 1920's
This Lefty three finger model took a little research. I thought it was a full web at first but the web is actually a Rawlings 1930 patent adjustable strap web. The patent number is still mostly visible on the pinky side of the heel. This Glove is an odd one with the fat finger being the first and second combined. It was called the Rawlings "Special" and may have been made in just one year, 1932.
