Model 5312 glove origin identifiable?

Postby jav6joev » January 2nd, 2011, 4:09 pm

My son picked up this vintage baseball glove and we'd like to see if anybody can provide any background for it. There doesn't appear to be any manufacturer information but the text 'genuine horsehide' and 'model 5312' is readable.

The button looks to be a Marathon / Montgomery Ward button. They most likely weren't the manufacturer but it could have been sold in their stores.
