Thanks Dave for your review of our Nocona book. We've printed only a few of these (self published) and have done fine with it. Nocona took a fourth of the copies for sale there.
I think you hit the nail on the head with the "inside look" because all that history of Stall and Dean, Denkert, Hutch, OK/Sonnett, even with the bigger companies, that story and history is
gone with the wind. Probably located in the smallest town as a glove maker (about 4,000 souls) and isolated in a way from the rest of the industry it had to survive on quality and loyalty of
its dealers, which it did, even in its lean days. I think the spark plugs for the company were H. B. "Doc" Hughes, Senior Bob Storey and support from players like Bobby Bragan and Carl Erskine to name
a few.
Again Dave, I appreciate your loyalty and dedication to the hobby and for your books which I constantly refer to.

Thank you John and Family for your time and efforts on the book. Fantastic.

PS: At anytime will it be available in electronic form?

I lost another Ebay auction yesterday and it left me frustrated and disappointed. Can't seem to win anything lately on Ebay. For whatever reason, this particular loss got under my skin. So I've decided to turn lemons into lemonade and use some of the money that would have gone toward that Ebay glove to purchase John Graham's book. Perhaps it will inspire me to strive for higher quality gloves, rather than just quantity. If I time my order right, I'll have the book in my mailbox by the time I return to New Jersey next week. Looking forward to it.

John is getting some good press for his book:

I think Mr. Mitt may have had a hand in this too. :)

Great interview! A lot of eyes on that website, so hopefully we'll see a spike in vintage glove interest, not to mention book sales! Got to put the word on the street.. :D

That's right, Brett. My good buddy Mr. Mitt put the editor in touch with me. Thanks Jerry! I really appreciate it.

Returned from Florida tonight to find my copy of John's book in my mail. Absolutely beautiful stuff. Haven't had the time to really get into it, but I'll be spending a lot of time with it over the next few days. I love the liquid lamination effect on the cover photos. Excellent job on the photography as well. Thank you John for your hard work on this project.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the very positive comments on our glove book. We have been excited about the reception it has received in the hobby. If you haven’t purchased your copy, you can visit me at the convention in Baltimore where I will be selling the book in the "glove" booth #2274 (along with Brett, William and Mr. Mitt). Hope to see you there.
