interesting Note.... Brooks actually Used a Rawlings Musial SM6 for a while then "gifted" it to another player. The SM6 was later endorsed by Boog Powell for a short time before he moved to 1B.

The Brooks SM6 gamer can be seen here. http://www.huntauctions.com/online/view_lots_items_list_closed.cfm?auction=14&start_number=1&last_number=100

SM6

Postby softball66 » May 3rd, 2007, 4:08 pm

I think Brooksy used the SM6 in the turning the reds blue w series. He got the glove from Davey May I think Brooks said before the season started.
The SM6 store glove was originally the Stan Musial Glove (6 being Stan's #), then went later to Boog, just briefly.
I've got an SMX here that might have belonged to Stan. Not mine, holding for a friend.
Brooks used a trapeze for awhile probably the TG12 or TTP.

Wow... think that SMX will come up for sale Joe? Even if it doesn't would you post some pics.

I have a Musial SM6 autographed by stan himself (pictures to prove it), with the Box, list of records, picture of stan and booklet the glove came with. It isn't for sale, but they do show up from time to time on E-bay.

I saw the boog powell SM6 on e-bay a while back, and it went for just over 200.... I have been looking for one for 3 years, but alas, it caught me at a bad time when I had empty pockets  such is life

SMX

The SMX is a lefty and signed by Stan. Don't think it's his gamer but he may have used something like this. I'm holding it for a friend. He may want to send it up for sale one of these days. I have pix but not loaded to the bucket.
