Displays

Postby ebbets55 » April 18th, 2009, 5:45 pm

Hi All, check out these cool display pics Joe sent me. They are from Richard Macaluso's collection and these displays are set up at the Folsom History Museum. Richard is a long-time collector and catchers mitt aficionado in the central CA area. Keep the display pics coming.

Our Richard Macaluso is a long time glover and keen on baseball. He had this in the Folsom Museum April a year ago and has some of the sharpest catcher's pud assemblies around. I didnt' do him justice in last June's newsletter but take a gander at these beauties!

The blue piece would have to ship freight - he's a hefty boy! We just hit seven months and is wearing 18 month clothes!

Brett it looks like it's coming all together. Great room. By the way, is that your recent crescent fielder's glove in the picture? That looks much larger than I thought it would be. That's a steal if that's the same one!......RBD

P.S. Cute kid.

Nice stuff OKDOAK,

Really like your displays. I really like the Rawlings counter display. 2 questions:

In the first picture. What glove is the light colored one far to the right (It's the only split next to some 50's spaldings and Rawlings)?

2. Under the Feller Wheaties sign, what's the 2nd glove to the right next to the full web?

Nice looking leather!
