Deciphering Akedema's alphabet soup

Does anyone know how to break down the Akedema 3 letter code for their gloves and mitts? If there is any logic to it I would certainly appreciate a lesson.

I have no clue as to their logic, but I recently bought my son the ALJ101. It is a 12" "Flytrap" and he loves it...

The A is for Akadema, the following two letters often represent a person's initials (the AMR is Manny Ramirez's glove) and I'm not sure what the number refers to but I'll find out and post again.

OK, I have to admit I figured out the "A" portion but I would appreciate any help you can give with the 2 letter codes both past and present.

So the name Akadema starts with the letter "A". This is what we know.
