Storage question

Postby Kenny Wel » September 8th, 2012, 5:29 pm

Ok, not a conditioning and restoring question, and not even a glove question, but I didn't know where else to ask this:

I have 3 pair of vintage cleats that I don't have room for in my display piece, so I want to store them safely. What do I keep them in? Protect them tightly in plastic, such as a vacuum bag, or in a box that will let them breath? The storage area is subject to moisture and temperature fluxuations.

Thanks for your help,

Ken

Normally I wouldn't suggest plastic bags but if there is a risk of mold or mildew, definitely keep them sealed in a bag. Under normal conditions, wrapped in tissue and placed in a box or cloth bag is probably the best route for storage.
