Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Picked these up off eBay and cleaned them up. Fastorange (smooth) on the cleanup and Nokona NLT on the conditioning. Left the laces as is.

Nice work. How long did it take you to do those?

Cleaning took less than an hour apiece with the Fastorange, toothbrush and an old T-shirt. Something about that old Nokona leather, it really responds to a good cleaning.

They reform pretty well when they're wet from the cleaning. I actually laid the GP3 on a small basketball and it reformed the big round pocket.

I let it dry the next day and then applied PJ the next evening. Let it drink that in and wiped the excess off and a day or two later put some Nokona NLT just to finish it off.

Not as expensive as the Lexol but still did o.k. for what I wanted it to do.
