GXF 20 Mizuno Legacy 1B glove

Postby JP#3 » July 6th, 2008, 8:34 am

I just bought a gxf20 mizuno Legacy 1B glove. Once I opened the parcel I realized that something was wrong with the laces. I try to find where to put the laces at the right place but I can't... Can you help me out ?

Just take à look at the gallery. Thanks for your help !

Second question: what's the substance on the center of the glove's palm ?

THat is oil in the pocket. It's fairly normal.
I can't help on the relace though, I've never done a 1b glove

Whoever relaced the web on that glove did not properly follow the lace pattern.

The laces shoud start and end on the back of the web.

Look at the "v" pattern on the back (finger area) of the glove. This lacing is done correctly.

The laces on the outer thumb are supposed to cross under the leather in the same way that you see on the finger back area.

The lace should start and finish on the back of the web, and this is where they should be tied.

I will try to post some pictures later today.

I see that you are in France. I would be happy to relace the web for you, but round-trip shipping could get costly.

Thanks for your help. I guess it would be clearer for me with some pictures !!! ;-) An dyes.. France is not really a good place for having a glove relaced.

Here are some photos of the lacing on the web of my GXF 21.
This is one of my "gamers" and the laces are a bit stretched.

You need to remove the laces from the middle section of the web of your glove. To install them properly, you need to start in the center of the web.

I hope these photos help you.
