Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I have a HFG 1 that is from 75 im guessing with the 5 dots. When i got it it seemed that they used some serious vasoline or something really sticky, i cleaned it with lexol ph and then conditioned it with lexol. THen i sent it to glove works and hoped he could clean it up better, really did do alot for it (in my opinon) probably just the glove, but anyway. How do i make it not crack through out the glove?
