Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Hey guys won a 4 glove lot and one turned out to be a maranville, lefty and really stiff but stampings are easily readable, a v-buckle back and looks to be a Macy ?? model... I thought about soaking the entire glove in a washing pan full of baby oil, anyone try that?? Have glove lotion on it and slowly soaking in, and getting softer but SLOW!!! Anyway Jim said this is a fairly scarce glove and it is up for a swap if anyone is interested, will send pics if you would like to see it to your personal email...
