Two great gloves are up for auction on ebay this week

here is a photo of the Ruth glove from the Jan. 1992 "The Glove Collector"

Here is a photo from the Sept. 1995 TGC. This is the sale I remember because the glove was so nice and the price was mid 4 figures and as the article states a high point for a store model glove. As I was looking through my old issues of TGC I was reminded again of the wealth of information there.

The seller on ebay is asking as an initial bid $8,500.0. In the description he say he purchased it in 1992-3 from Dave Bushings for $6,200.00

It's nice to see some great gloves like this pop out of hiding. With the nice gloves in Legendary, it will be interesting to see how the glove market is doing right now.

Interesting that a Spalding "Double Face" glove would show up on ebay so soon after the Reach lefty version.
