If a glove is custom made with a name on it...how much would you destroy the glove by removing the threading?

I am asking because there are a couple of real sweet gloves on ebay but they have names on them.

I personally would not because it would leave a lot of small holes and may look not so good. I have heard of using a sharpie over the embroidery with the shell back color....just some ideas.

turning them into a black block with a sharpie is about as good as you can do unless you can take it apart and sew a label or flag patch over it. not for a beginer

I've done that to two different Rawlings Horween gloves and it worked well. Might have to do it two or three times total. kind of wears off a little.
