No any HOH with a J in the model number is not horween. My friend has a black 2 piece HOH from Japan and is pretty much done after less than 4 months of use....but then again he used "hot glove" on it, so I imagine that messed it up nice and good.

Thanks. Not quite my situation though

I have a glove in my collection with a Rawlings date code ***01 (cant put my hands on it atm to get the exact letters). The glove seems to be running a tad smaller and seems to have a bit less padding in the palm. Its got nice HOH stamping. It just has this little Japan stamp on the Pinkie.
