Yes, it is. I have gotten a few tan PRONP4's before. It's 100% legit.

So where is the "Made in the U.S.A." stamp on it?

It doesnt say it is a made in the USA glove.... If you read the numerous posts on here, Horween is a leather manufacturer in Chicago ( I think). They supply the leather to Rawlings. Horween is horween, it may not be the same type as the old 1990's tan, but this is the closest you can get these days. If you look at the pics of my PRO200-6 Mesh Back and PRO200-9 they are both the same Tan Horween you can get today.

I understand the horween leather part...my question is on the pro-shop claim?
I can go down to the local sporting goods store here in town and purchase a horween leather glove...does that make it a pro-shop glove?

What is your definition of a pro-shop glove?

I know for a fact that this glove came from the Rawlings PRO SHOP where I get my mesh gloves and all of my custom Rawlings. It comes from the Pro desk where minor league ball players can order gloves.

My definition of Pro Shop is gloves that come from this section of Rawlings.

Hey HRKing,

How do you get all of those custom gloves at the PRO shop? Do you contact Rawlings employees or ask docglove......

Thanks for your time,

Kyle

Custom Pro Shop glove

Postby Glovenut 1 » December 3rd, 2008, 5:03 am

Is this a St. Louis Custom Pro Shop glove- NO Sir! The custom shop gloves from the U.S.A. are ALL stamped as such and are also stamped with the Shop's stamp. There is no mistaking these gloves. Rock solid, perfectly packed.

I know our friend Don Morton gets batches of older models made for him by Rawlings. While these are great gloves, they are still made in the Philippines. The glove in question is likely not at all a Custom Glove Shop Heart of the Hide.

Still- a darn nice glove- enjoy it!

We know its not a St. Louis pro shop glove.

Its a Pro Shop glove only offered to minor leaguers.

What HRKing said is correct, and the seller is a good guy and i'll vouch for him , I bought a PRO SHOP glove off him( one that was directly custom made for a minor leaguer, not available to the public through any customization program online or through eastbay) and it was just as he advertised.
