Rawlings Sandlot Series?

Postby wjr953 » November 25th, 2008, 12:43 pm

Does anyone own a Rawlings Sandlot Series SL127T or any of the newer Sandlot Series gloves? Can you offer anything in the way they hold up over time? I bought one for my wife last year, but she hasn't used it yet, it's still has the original tags on it. I am looking at the 12.75 inch Trap-Eze gloves that Billy Fitz has up on eBay. I really like the color and texture of the wife's glove, but I would like to get some input from anyone that's used theirs for a year or two. Thanks.

I have asked the same question before and have got the same response more than once. You are getting a $70 glove so expect $70 performance. I also like the look but I don't think it is worth it over time, you are probally better off getting a good deal on a HOH model you will most definetley get your money's worth.

Thanks for the input. I would really like to see some pix of (or better yet, look at one in person), one of these gloves that is 2 or 3 years old to see how that texture and look hold up after extended use. I think you're right, it would be money better spent on something of better quality, HOH's being a good example.
