FOR SALE - RAWLINGS PRO200-4JR & PRONP5P WITH CUSTOM WEB

Postby Brotherray » November 23rd, 2008, 9:45 pm

Lucky for me I did not get the kind of offer that would persuade me to part with my PRO-T so that I could order a custom glove for my son. I’ve decided to get rid of his gloves instead – makes sense! I know that he won’t receive it by Christmas but he knows I’m Santa so it’s OK with him.

The PRONP5P is a one of a kind with a one piece solid web. It was used by my 11 year old this past season for about 25 games. It has been very well maintained with no ink or cracking on the inner palm.

The PRO200-4JR is brand new and was a demo model that has never been used. It was pretty much a display piece for my son since he’s a Mets/Pedro fan.

I also have a Nokona AMG*125 that is used but in great shape. I picked it up from my local PIAS a few months back. It has that great Nokona smell with no ink or cracking. It is a beautiful 10 ¾ glove that is perfect for a youth or adult player due to the adjustable wrist strap. I’ll post pics soon.

If you’re interested in any of the gloves PM me with offers. I’ll probably wait about a week before putting them on eBay. Thanks for looking!

Nice job on the PRONP5P conversion. Did you take the web from a 2 piece glove?

Thank you for the kind words.

You can't use the top half of a two piece solid web that way. I ordered the web directly from Rawlings for $30 shipped. It was a brand new HOH leather web.

web

Hey brotherray,

Do you think it would be possible to order a dual hinge web from Rawlings? I know some of the stock models have them so I wonder if they let the public buy them..

Thanks for your time,

-Kyle

Kyle,

I don't see why they would not sell you the web. I told them exactly what I was going to do with the web and they were very helpful. They even shipped the lacing needed for the new web. Let me know how it works out.

Ray

BTW - The Oxblood has sold as well!

Thanks brotherray,

I wanted my custom HOH to have the dual hinge web, but it was not one of their options, so I went with the basket connector and am very pleased with the look. The next time I get a custom I will see if they can put on a dual hinge and if not I will try to buy one and then relace and put it on!

Thanks,

-Kyle

-Happy to hear your One-piece web glove sold, that glove looked awesome!

I would also like to get a replacement top piece for a older PRO-LT catchers mitt I have been working on restoring, I will have to give them a call and see if they can help.
