Heart of the Hide mesh back

Postby LincySchmidt17 » November 10th, 2008, 11:35 pm

I was at a local baseball superstore today and saw some interesting HOH's. Both an Oxblood and just a black HOH with mesh backing, they also had an Oxblood catchers mitt like that. Anyone else seen these or heard about these?

We currently have the Rawlings Pro-Stock Heart of the Hide models in our store. These models are exclusive to Varsity Baseball, and are therefore not allowed to be advertised or sold on the internet.

To best describe these gloves, they are a Heart of the Hide in the Oxblood color with strategicly placed black kevlar. We have 6 of these particular Pro-Stock HoH models. They are as follows:

HoH PROJP2000 32.5 Catchers Glove
HoH PRO88PM 11.25 Modified Trap-Eze Web
HoH PRONP2JBM 11.25 Pro-I Web
HoH PRO200-4PM 11.5 Modified Trap-Eze Web
HoH PRO200-2PM 11.5 Pro-I Web
HoH PRO1175-9PM 11.75 Deep-I Web

That's a quote from Justin Mitzel. He doesn't have any pics but I'm going to order the PRO200 I-Web and I can post pics. I added the phone number to the post above if you want to place an order.

Hey Guys,

Spoke to Justin earlier and he sent me these pics from a blackberry phone of the 11.5 mod trap with the mesh back. They sell for $209 plus $10 shipping.

If you remember I was talking about these gloves in June. They are not exclusive to varsity baseball or whoever thinks they have an exclusive. At the small store that I worked at we got a fax offering us this line as well as a few other exclusive gloves. When I asked our rawlings rep about them he said that they were not available until august. The shortstop for the US baseball team during the olympics also had one.

*note I stopped working at that shop shortly after, so I never got a chance to order my glove*
