Don Morton custom gloves...

Postby RedSoxFan81 » November 4th, 2008, 2:35 am

I am debating on ordering a custom PRO 12CRO custom glove from Don Morton ( ballgloves.com) . I was curious if anyone had experience with either types of custom glove from them whether it be pro preferred or HOH. My main concern is this: I want the glove to be light weight. Some HOH gloves I pick up are just too heavy for my liking. I just want to make sure if I order a custom it's gonna be light enough for me. Look forward to your replies.

I spoke to Don today and was informed that you can now order a 12 inch single post glove. You will need to call as the website does not have the option as of yet. Black dry leather is by far the lightest glove, followed by the Pro Pref. The oil treated leather is the heaviest leather but the easiest to break-in. And of course Don has the cheapest prices for the custom Rawling gloves around.

Did he say if it was the thin one bar or the thicker one like the PRORV23B model they offer?
